Minsky the clown

Here are some shots of Minsky the clown in action in a custom clownesque costume. The idea was incorporate all things circus with an element of vintage.

The collar and cuffs were made from from vintage lace on a base of gold silk dupion, made easily removable with gold ribbon bows. I created a harlequin effect corset using blue,red,gold,green and cream silk dupion with an antique gold trim. The bloomers were made in the same colours along side a revamped bra with squirting flowers.

The Powder Room - Salon Rouge

Here are just a few snaps from The Powder Room at Salon Rouge in Cambridge. Powder and Puff were out to play while Miss Sherrie Sparkes offered her talented make up services in the Powder Room.

New Studio

Boom! Boom! Baby! have relocated to The Art Factory Studios on Hall Road, Norwich . Consolations and fittings will now be being done here, please note though this is not a shop but a workshop and appointments must be made for consultations and fittings. I am still in the process of glaming it up but I shall have photos soon! x

Queen Of Hearts corset - used for photo shoots and a fashion show, some small signs of wear and slight make up marks on the front right and on the back but barely noticeable. Size 22" £ 75

Glitter bow corset- Made from emerald green glitter, trimmed in a metallic gold with matching suspenders ( non detachable) all finished off with a giant gold bow at the back. This has only been worn very briefly for a shoot and is in excellent condition! Size 22" £99

Glitter corset - Emerald green glitter longer line overbust, worn for promotional use, some slight signs of wear. Size 23" £99

Nude lace corset - Nude lace corset with black lace and beaded trim and fron bow detail. Worn briefly for a shoot, no signs of wear. Size 20" £99

Kandy for Boom! Boom! Baby!

Check out the gorgeous Kandy on the front of this months Devolution magazine wearing the Queen Of Hearts corset. Custom hat made by Kalandra Jane and necklace by Torture Couture.

Custom corset and bloomers

This outfit was designed for a Carry On theme night at Bonanafana for New Year. My client wanted something to go with a vintage nightgown, the corset was made from a traditional coutil fabric trimmed in a vintage blue lace trim. A pair of bloomers finished of the outfit trimmed in a matching lace with a baby blue bow detail on the side of each leg. Thank you to Rod Penn for the fab photos!

Custom Work

Here are a couple of custom pieces I have been working on, the first is an adorable My Little Pony print corset, trimmed with turquoise satin and finished with lime green organza. I made a detachable bustle that can be worn over or underneath the corset.

The second is made from a piece of gorgeous Geisha fabric was sent to me by a client, the corset was trimmed in a matching turquoise silk dupion with ruffles of blue and purple organza.
